Hello little artists! Welcome to this page dedicated to the chestnut, a fruit that brings with it the scent and colors of autumn. Here you will find 25 chestnut coloring pages ready to be colored with your favorite pencils, from the simplest ones for the little ones, to those rich in details for those who love challenges.
My story with chestnuts
Since I was a child, autumn was my favorite season. I still remember walking in the woods with my grandfather, picking chestnuts hidden under the golden leaves. And then, in the evening, we would sit in front of the lit fireplace to peel them and eat them, while outside the wind blew through the bare trees. Those warm and fragrant chestnuts were a true treasure, a gift from nature to be carefully guarded. And today, through these pages, I want to share that magic with you.
Tips for coloring chestnuts
- Observe nature: Before you begin, try looking at a real chestnut. What colors do you see? Dark brown, light brown, maybe a little green on the burr?
- Use your imagination: There are no rules in coloring! You can use traditional colors or invent new combinations. Maybe your chestnut is blue, or purple, or even rainbow!
- Have fun with the shades: Try blending the colors to create a three-dimensional effect. You'll see how your chestnut will look almost real!
Chestnut curiosities
- Did you know that the burr, the chestnut's prickly "house", serves to protect it from animals?
- And that chestnuts are rich in nutrients and can be eaten in many different ways: roasted, boiled, turned into flour for delicious desserts?
